About Dr. StroupeDr. Stroupe grew up in Fayette, Missouri, graduating from the local high school. She started shadowing at Howard County Veterinary Services during the summer after her sophomore year in college in 2007 after she decided she wanted to be a vet. In 2012, upon completion of the doctor of veterinary medicine program at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in Columbia, Dr. Stroupe became an Associate Veterinarian at the clinic. Prior to this, she completed a degree in pre-veterinary studies at the University of West Florida in Pensacola.
Dr. Stroupe lives with her husband Patrick on a farm outside of town with her dog Shalane (pictured right) and her cat Linus (who is too good to take a picture with her, typical cat behavior). She also has extended family that lives nearby (like within yelling distance). Dr. Stroupe is very involved in veterinary organizations and community groups. She is an avid runner, fashionista, and gun enthusiast, all stress relievers that keep her sane during a busy week on call. |
